U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is waiving the requirement for adjustment of status applicants to present proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination.  While USCIS still requires several standard vaccinations documented on Form I-693, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, when applying for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident, the COVID-19 vaccine is no longer a requirement for applicants.

This change is effective January 22, 2025.
