The registration period for the fiscal year 2024 H-1B cap will open on March 1, 2023, at noon Eastern Standard Time (EST) and end on March 17, 2023, at noon EST. All cap registrations must be submitted online during this period. Prospective employers or their representatives must use a myUSCIS online account to register each beneficiary for the selection process and pay a $10 registration fee for each beneficiary’s registration. Employers who have not set up accounts in prior years may create a new account beginning on February 21, 2023, at noon EST and continuing through the registration period. Representatives may add employer clients to their accounts at any time.
If more registrations are received by March 17, 2023, than the numerical allocations, USCIS will run a computerized lottery to randomly select registrations for which an H-1B cap-subject petition may be submitted. USCIS intends to send notifications of selections via myUSCIS accounts by March 31, 2023.
