About Us
Young Ah Ri
Principal

Young is the founder of the Law Office of Young Ah Ri, PC. Since 2007, she has concentrated her Chicago-based practice exclusively in US immigration laws, with an emphasis on family-based immigration, employer-sponsored immigration, naturalization, non-immigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1, F-1, J-1 waiver), removal proceedings, and deferred action for childhood arrivals. She is dedicated to helping her clients navigate the complex and ever-evolving immigration process through strong and sound strategies. Her clients come from all over the globe, from over 70 countries throughout North America, Asia, Oceania, South America, Europe, and Africa.

Young is a 2005 graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology. Before law school, she earned a BS in Life Science and an MS in Microbiology from Sogang University in Korea. Young is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and before the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is fluent in English, Japanese, and Korean.

Pamela (Drabczynska) Otocki

Associate Attorney

Pamela (Drabczynska) Otocki practices immigration law, concentrating in both family-based and employment-based matters. She assists clients with adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, naturalization, PERM labor certification, immigrant worker petitioners, and non-immigrant visas. Prior to joining Law Office of Young Ah Ri PC, Pamela gained a wide range of experience in both a boutique and a prominent corporate immigration firm setting. She focused on all aspects of family immigration as well as assisting small and mid-size companies with obtaining temporary work visas and permanent residency on behalf of employees in several industries, including healthcare, technology, and financial services.

Pamela graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2015 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University Chicago, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Pamela is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Chicago Bar Association. She is fluent in English and Polish.
